The well-established and attended Barns Green Half Marathon has been taking place in the village since 1981. At the park entrance a bus stop provides easy access to local towns with a service that runs all day. The nearest train station, Christ's Hospital, is a 5 minute drive from the park.
At Oaklands Park we welcome small, well behaved pets. There are fabulous countryside walks to explore with easy access to the South Downs National Trail from nearby Brooks Green.
